Still, Dark and Clear Waters

The other day, while walking around the lake I was struck by how clearly I could see the sky and surroundings in the water. The water was dark and clear and still. It occurred to me that when that same water is moving, nothing is reflected in it. We're like water. When we stand still, stop running from each other, we can see ourselves reflected back to us in the people we love.
